27V rolls across the Pacolet river in Converse, SC as threatening sky's loom over this empty auto rack train. It doesn't have very far to go. As it's destination is the BMW plant in Greer, SC.
27V continues south through Grover with SD40-2 6090 leading a ACe.
27V rolls through the trench in Gastonia with a fairly uncommon leader. These days seeing a 40-2 leading a road train is harder to come by. But is always a nice thing to see.

To my knowledge, Huntsville, AL is the only place in the world you can photograph a heritage unit passing a Saturn V Rocket.
